This three-pound organ is the seat of intelligence, interpreter of the senses, initiator of body movement, and controller of behavior. The brain is the source of all the qualities that define our humanity. The brain is the crown jewel of the human body.
Ways to protect your brain:
Protect your brain from physical trauma some of the injuries to your brain can occur due to head trauma. Head trauma can result from blows to the head, which damage brain tissue, blood vessels, nerves or other areas of the brain. Many accidents cannot be prevented, but you can do things to reduce the likelihood of sustaining brain trauma.

Rejecting physical, emotional, or sexual abuse

Stress can be very harmful. Stress can affect your body, mood, and behavior. It is important to identify your stressors to help combat symptoms that may occur.
